Microsoft releases a new version of Windows TerminalMicrosoft has released version 0.11 of its Windows Terminal with new features, changes in settings, and support for more languages than English.
As its name suggests, Windows Terminal will allow you from the terminal to execute cmd commands, PowerShell, and also Linux commands without leaving Windows 10.
According to Microsoft, this version 0.11 supports languages other than English and makes many changes to the parameters, and on occasion, the firm asks users to move the settings file (profiles.json) out of the folder terminal because it automatically generates a new one during its installation and this risks overwriting the old one.
Anyway, Microsoft changed the name of the profiles.json settings file to settings.json
As for the rest of the new features, the terminal uses the Cascadia font by default for all profiles created (see Cascadia Code on Github), two new themes for the interface, the Dark theme, and the Tango theme. Light.
